Insure to Study insures your stay in the Netherlands during your study or internship. This special Aruba insurance is for Aruban students studying in the Netherlands. The Office of the Minister Plenipotentiary of Aruba, Aruba House, will arrange your health and Zip insurance directly with us.

Do the SVB check
In the Netherlands there is an insurance obligation for basic health insurance, this law does not apply in specific situations, such as for Aruban students in the Netherlands.
We advise you to regularly check whether or not you, as a student, are required to be insured under the Dutch basic health care insurance. Use the SVB check for this purpose.
The SOS International helpline
Does something go wrong during your trip or stay? Then contact the SOS International helpline + 31 20 6515777 immediately. They can be reached 24 hours a day. Save this number in your cell phone before you leave for abroad. You can then call the helpline directly in case of:
- Hospitalization
- Accident or serious illness
- Repatriation
- Unexpected travel and/or lodging expenses
Consider your basic health insurance
HollandZorg’s basic health insurance for Aruban students.
The premium is € 152.20 (2024) per month and has no legal deductible. You can apply using the application form (NL/EN) and the authorization form (NL). Then mail the fully completed forms to [email protected]. You can find HollandZorg’s terms and conditions here.

With Insure to Study, everything is well taken care of
In the Insure To Study package, your health and Zip insurance are well taken care of for your stay in the Netherlands. All your necessary insurances are included in this, even if you are temporarily outside the Netherlands for your studies or internship. You may go on vacation to Aruba for eight consecutive weeks with Insure to Study insurance.
